For this project, i only used three different sound loops, the slayer, fat cheese, and FPC. i put both the slayer and the FPC through the fruity mixer, which is where it gets complicated with the filtering and stuff. also i used automation clips on the slayer and FPC. The slayer is the main voice in this project and hold the main melody. to back. At first i let the slayer play by itself for the first four counts, but then the FPC (drums) fade into the slayer. in the middle of the loop is where the fat cheese comes in and backs up the slayer at an octave or so higher to contrast the sounds and make it more interesting. that plays only for a couple 4 counts. at the end, the FPC fades out and then the slayer is played by itself and eventually fades out also. let me know what you think, enjoy (:
I like the riff, but I think it needs a little more support. Perhaps at :14, there could be a variation in the theme or perhaps the bass could provide more of a standard bass line than the accents it's giving here.
