Project 5: Noise Envelope and Sytrus

this is my newest and favorite loop i've made. it kinda sounds like some sort of cute little video game haha but it gets a little more interesting. i used 4 different sytrus', a kick drum, claps, snares, and high hats. it may sounds like more than that, but its not haha. with the sytrus, i made a bass pattern, and the main melody, and two miscellaneous pieces. i first start off with the noise that isnt very appealing with the simple high hat hitting every 4th beat. then the main melody and follows along, also the two miscellaneous parts come into play to spice it up a little. then i repeated the noise and continues the same pattern, but with a different drum beat and i added a bass line, which i made with the sytrus. also took out the little sounds that were in the first half of the pattern and used reverb on a lot of stuff in the pattern such as the claps and snare drum. well let me know what u think (: enjoyyy

  1. The automation on the cutoff frequency makes this chord progression really cool. The bass part has a fantastic sound, but seems to wander a bit. Also, the cutoff frequency automation on the bass is a little too much. It detracts from the quality of the synth- and you did create a cool sounding bass synth that is very rich in low harmonics and cuts through really well.
